Two websites that were put up and maintained by the US government itself are www.grants.gov and www.govbenefits.gov. These sites were implemented to  immediately answer the questions of the people and also to make aware the grants available to the public. It provides instantaneous response and up to date relevant  info.

Grants.gov

Grants.gov was initially set up as part of the government’s 2002 Fiscal Management Program. It also strives to streamline the application process and hasten the approving period.

The concept of grants.gov was based on Public Law106-107. This law was enacted in November 1999 with objectives to enhance the government’s financial  assistance programs, simplify the application and management procedures, enrich the services delivered, and further inter-agency cooperation in distributing Federal  aid.

This website is truly a gold mine for those seeking federal grants but do not where to begin. It is easy to navigate and simply written. It also has several links to  other government agencies that may be of further assistance.
GovBenefits.gov

GovBenefits.gov, on the other hand, is a collaboration of the federal agencies focused on making the delivery of public support easy and efficient.
